Gordon Routledge


Gordon Routledge is co-founder of Revo Media Partners Ltd and has over 17 years’ experience in the lighting industry gained in a wide variety of leadership roles. In 2001, he founded Lumidrives, a pioneering company in the use of high powered LEDs for illumination applications which he led until its acquisition by Dialight PLC in 2006. Gordon then developed and led the global lighting business unit. Gordon is serial entrepreneur and innovator and is inventor and co-inventor on 11 patents.

John Bullock

Applications Editor

John is as an engineer by background and has worked for over thirty years in lighting and lighting design. He has written for the lighting press for many years and has played an active role in producing lighting commentary on his own website and in social media.
Beyond lighting design John has also championed the need for a more sustainable approach to lighting design and manufacture and continues to speak on the topic at industry forums. John also runs his own lighting design consultancy.

Ray Molony

Managing editor

An engineer by background, Ray Molony has written about lighting for over 20 years. He is the publisher of Lux and Lighting. He studied electrical and electronic engineering at Dublin City University and worked on various projects in the defence industry. He’s the co- author of the acclaimed book, Light: Reinterpreting Architecture, which was published by Rotovision in 2001 and translated into numerous languages. His current obsession is reclaimed luminaires.

Alan Tulla

Technical editor

Alan is Lux’s technical editor and an acknowledged expert on LEDs and their practical applications. He writes the Lux Design Clinic, Product Reviews and a number of other regular technical features. Alan often participates at many of the Lux events as a speaker or panellist and is a valued Lux Awards judge. Alan is a Fellow and Past President of the Society of Light and Lighting. Alan also runs his own independent lighting consultancy.

Judy Kenny

Creative director

Judy has worked as a designer/art editor for 20 years in the B2B publishing industry and is currently the Creative Director at Revo Media. Work includes logo design and branding, magazine layout, all promotional branding/advertising for events, working alongside the editorial, sales and event teams for Lighting, Lux, the LuxLive exhibition at ExCeL London, the Lux Awards, the Lighting Design Awards, LuxLive Middle East 2016, conferences and forums. She has previously worked for Emap, MIT Publishing, Quantum Publishing, Tolley Publishing and also at design consultancies Vivid Associates and Bowes Darby.


Lucille Austin

Commercial Director

Lucille Austin joined Revo Media in October 2016 as Commercial Director. She has over 25 years business development experience selling to the UK's top retailers, supermarkets and store groups. Lucille has travelled extensively for business in Europe, China and India and is very experienced at managing complex sales processes with multiple decision makers and influencers. Lucille is tasked with growing all our major brands including, LuxLive UK and Middle East ,Lighting magazine and lightspace.

Andrew Bousfield

Sector Marketing Specialist

Andrew is a sector marketing specialist maintaining key accounts and selling across the many Lux platforms including LuxLive, Lux Awards, Light Locator, and Lux conferences. He joined Revo Media when it was founded in November 2010 after having worked as a buyer for several major high street retailers. Andrew has a BA Hons in Architecture and is an expert at bothying.


Miriam Hier

Business manager

Miriam oversees the event portfolio in the UK, Middle East and Europe. Events include LuxLive UK and Middle East, related events and content programme, Lux Awards, conferences, webcasts, seminars and roundtable forums. She is also responsible for implementing and managing various office systems and data management. Miriam is a scientist by background and joined Revo Media when it was founded in 2010.

Margaret O'Shea

Audience Research and Development Manager

Margaret has over fifteen years’ experience working for leading global financial firms and corporate communications agencies. Having qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen she spent several months on secondment in Australia prior to working in the firm’s Business Consulting division. She moved to London in 2000 to work for Deutsche Bank as a research analyst. Thereafter she worked at Brunswick Group LLP, helping clients improve communications with the financial media, investors and analysts. She joined Revo Media in February 2016 and develops audience research for all key events.

Sara Kearns

Office Manager

Sara joined Revo Media in July 2014. She provides administrative support to the entire management team and manages all aspects of the daily running of the Revo Media office. Sara recently expanded her role into sales and also supports Commercial Director , Lucille Austin . .She is responsible for table sales for the Lux Awards and LDA’s.

Charlie Ward

Conference and Events Manager

Charlie joined Lux in 2014 and manages the company’s UK and overseas conferences, webinars and forums. She assists in managing the LuxLive speaker programme and the Lux Awards judging and and celebration evening. Charlie has a BA in Media and has worked in events and media for 5 years. She is a keen traveller and has travelled extensively across India and South East Asia.

Charlotte Hendy

Marketing Manager

Charlotte joined in March 2017 and is Marketing Manager for the global event portfolio. Events include LuxLive, Lux Awards, Lighting Design Awards, 40under40 programmes and all Lux's European conferences. After graduating with a first class BA Hons in Business and Marketing, Charlotte gained invaluable experience working with the EMEA marketing team at one of the leading global lighting manufacturers.
